On the topic of HD disks with taped holes - they are not as reliable as true DD disks because they were created and calibrated for a different system. So don't put any important data on them, and it is considered not done to distribute software on them either.

ahhh, bullocks. it seems they dropped DD as well
The disk type has a * next to it, and below it says:
"*All other formats available upon request"
So I think there's still a chance they do DD disks, you just have to inquire about it.

I found a local store that sells brand new sealed 2DD floppies, pre-formatted for Amiga!

Everyone knows that e-mails are carried by Piggeons. There is even an RFC from April 1, that explains all the details of this protocol
