Hi,

I have a Philips NMS8245 without a disk drive - I have a potentially suitable drive, but I'd rather have the correct one. Plus there's nowhere to attach the drive, as there's no mounting plate which I believe there should be?

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

If you're going to install a PC drive you'll find that it will not fit in the original mounting plate of the NMS8245. You'll have to modify it a little by blending it a little. I think it should not be so hard to make a mounting plate for yourself, just find how to fix it well, the mounting plate will not be seen once the computer case is closed so it's not very important if it's not as "beautyful" as the original mounting plate.
