The question is a different one: does gedit work on Windows? AFAIK, the G at gedit stands for GNOME. But I suppose that you can produce a similar result by coding a different plugin for, let's say, Ultraedit. But hey, I just use gedit on Ubuntu and edit.com on Windoze/MS-DOS (yuks!)

Thankyou, I'm thinking about a bizarre experiment: to use MS-Excel to write MSX-Basic code and to define a macro to launch program on openMSX.
In Excel you can easely insert rows and define labels. Tongue

Weird!

But on the other hand, I've seen people using Excel as MSX sprite editor oO

If you need help on writing plugins that control openMSX, we are always willing to help you!

This is a good start: http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/openmsx-control.html

I think that NekoLauncher uses this method nowadays as well.
