Dudes... Stranges choices to be made.

How do you come up with this stuff... I've sure missed some discussions, didn't I? Wink

Microcabin's snare drum?????

I'd vote for the continued existence of this forum.

That says a lot already... Don't mind me. Smile

And again I have to say that at Karoshi we are MSX1 guys!

I'm sooooo with you. MSX1 forever SmileLOL!CoolBig smileoOLOL!CoolCool

The only thing an MSX2 is good for is to load my ESE cart so I can run it on my MSX1 machines Wink

And if I could tell you that you don't need an MSX2 for that? Wink

You can upload games to any flasheable device using the cassette interface. Using a reliable sound replayer, you can speed up the process up to 1 Kbyte/sec. I have done so for the MegaRAM and SCC+ cartridges. Still looking for info on how to do the same with MegaFlashSCC.

Are you one of the geniuses who made some of the baffling MSX 1 stuff I've seen lately?

Like, the "new" Nemesis that scrolls backwards or the Vampire Killer-remake?

I love it so much that people can get that kind of stuff from an MSX 1. My jaw almost got dislocated of opening wide all the time from amazement, really! Smile

Sorry if I'm a little off-topic... Shocked!

pitpan: Round 1 and 2 combined decide which ones were moving on to round 3. It goes to show that there's still some unfairness in this system (but a lot less than there used to be). Karoshi had the bad luck to meet the strong 'release of MSX2' in round 1, and to respectully draw in the second round. It just missed the 66% boat to move to the third round...

What about the 'openMSX' entry?

I guess it lost massively against 'turboR" and apparently drew against Karoshi Sad
