The Wiki is suffering from some caching issues that I still should fix. It's in the pipeline!

Furthermore, because of recurring bugs and a tremendous slowdown with each forum post, the comment notification feature has been disabled until further notice. I'll attempt to install a replacement in the future, but for now we'll have to do without.

OK, so at the moment, I'm logged in into the site, but not when I go into a wiki page of MRC... and I can't login there... (access denied). Very odd.

Not a new problem. Since the beginning of the Wiki, I've noticed it. The only solution is to log out and log in outside the wiki (for example on the fist page of the site). I guess that the log in on the Wiki is only valid for a limited time, because the automatic log out from the Wiki seems to happen when I don't have visited the Wiki after some time (? 2 or 3 days).

Previously I had notifications about replies to forum post sent to my email, but for some reason they have stopped. I can not find the setting anymore.

Not that I'd need the notifications, but sometimes that could be a nice feature...

Was it removed intentionally?

Yup, see my post at the top of this page.

I'll also look into the Wiki login issue.

...should or shouldn't? In my opinion they should. Given that we're discussing a 33 year old computer, I think that there can often be good reasons to continue an old thread or comment to ancient news posts. If it's just plain necrobumping or nonsense those specific comments can be moderated. Like I just did with 2 of the topics you pointed out. Thanks for mentioning those Wink
