Sorry, but what's the point in buying something new (in the year of release), not open it and wait like 25 years to sell it on internet (which was not heard of in the 80s. Therefor an auction and newly sealed value was not an option yet).
Somehow I doubt the games have never been played...

When i bought my Konami ROM's back in the early 80's I took the boxes and instruction books in a safe place, when I sold them they had pristine boxes/instructions Wink

You see it all the time. Sometimes some "new old stock" pops up somewhere (unopened games found in some forgotton storage), and collectors buy them just for collection purposes. Generally collectors dont open their stuff anyway, I have a lot of CD/dvd/vinyl records which are unopened, since I bought them for the collection (listening to the pirated mp3s instead)Tongue

Few years ago a stack of unused neo-geo's were found and sold for if I recall correctly 1000 dollars each. I wonder if a batch of unused Turbo R's or msx 2+'s will ever show up, fresh sealed in box Smile
