My daughter is 5 years old right now and she still begs for the "sleeping song"... that's how she refers to
Dragon Slayer VI 1st village music Smile

Edit: I mean singing the song myself

Lovely! I got to learn MSX songs playing on my accordion, to support my seven years old with MSX songs. You should see her dance to Knightmare! (wich is not a lullaby, of course.)

Sweet Smile How do you sing those songs btw, humming I reckon? (Which is technically a form of singing I guess.. Smile)

@hamlet: shoot a video, I'll watch Wink

I would really enjoy Knightmare played on accordion and your daugther dancing on that Smile I'm still suffering from a trauma caused by this guy dancing on SCC musics, I need to forget that !

About the DS6 soundtrack, have you ever heard this version? There is some pretty interesting stuff going on there. I recommend giving it a listen some time.
The only thing I think is a shame, is the entire mid-section of "Voice of God" missing for some reason (and the "Dungeon" music isn't complete either), but for instance the more up-tempo rendition of the intro demo's leitmotiv is pretty kewl.

@Louthrax So you managed to find the new location of that vid eh..? Tongue Wink

Yes, I still wanted to thank *you* for that one, every time I listen to Gradius 2's music (chance had it that was even today.. Tongue) I can picture that guy..

For a moment I did wonder if he was actually dancing to the soundtrack in question as it seems like he just goes on frantically (even when the music goes silent), but I guess he does, as some stuff does look to be in sync, like his spins on A Planet of Plants.

I do like the layout of his room.. The mattress on the right, the toilet on the left.. :)

Even with some other tunes I sometimes think 'hmm.. perhaps that guy could dance to this..' ;)

You're the one who started this Louthrax, you won't forget this before I do! :evil: ;)

@ren of course, I meant humming. By the way, do you know Smooth McGroove acapella videogame covers?? That's really a must!!

@JohnHassink I didn't know that DS6 version. It sounds cool! :)

@Imanok Never got on the Smooth McGroove bandwagon myself, but it's pretty cool though (I quite like Bloody Tears) (Too bad his covers aren't more in the line of MSX ;)) (-edit- Though I now also discovered Contra - Jungle Theme, which is awesome :))

Do you know the Castlevania stuff by Banjo Guy Ollie? He has recently done a new cover of Vampire Killer (be sure to check out Heart of Fire as well) (I'm a bit of a sucker for that tune, but it's a great cover ;)) and there's other MSX (related) stuff as well, like a cover of Mohenjo Daro (Usas).

@John Interesting one! ;)

-edit And this Knighmare cover is for Louthrax only... ;)
