have the Zemmix bios roms been dumped ? if so, it might be able to boot up in emulators since the hardware is similar to the MSX.

You can see the inside of a Zemmix here :
http://assembler.roarvgm.com/Zemmix/zemmix.html
One of these chips tries to imitate the Konami SCC Sound ! It seems that Koreans also had selled apart clone-SCC chips to use with slots-extensions ...

That is only correct for the second Zemmix (Zemmix Super V) on that page.
The first one does NOT have SCC possibilities :P

My Zemmix is 100% MSX1 compatible.
So there is no reason to believe that the dumped roms wouldn't work on an emulator.

I have however not received the instructions for dumping a normal Korean single game rom yet. Still waiting for the info...

That's indeed the problem with the Korean FM-Ship : the sounds are too high .... that's you can also hear in ParaMSX that doesn't use the more advanced YM2413 emulation.

So, with the false Korean SCC chip, the problem is worse than with the FM-Ship, but we remain in the approximation zone ! The perfection is SCC+ and Turbo-R FM sound !

Actually, the Panasonic MSX Turbo R FM sound is not perfect. In fact this implementation from Matsushita/Panasonic is not even in 'stereo'. Some people like the combination of the Brazilian "FM Sound Stereo" plus Konami Snatcher Sound Cartridge.

Hey Argon,
That would be a nice thing to see. This old Korean games dumped. I had some problems also dumping some Brazilian cartridges. For example, I managed to dump Super Cobra, from Gradiente but failed to dump Rollerball. Crying

What was removed? Sure, this thread is some years old ... But there still is the need for good ports or remakes of classic games. One thing that make this thing difficulty to do is that some of the classic Software Houses are down or closed.

Anyway, there should be some good alternatives for beat em up games.

I reacted on a remark made by a person who hasn't been active for some years....
I didn't notice that at first.

I'm looking for a screenshot from the Zemina version of Double Dragon. Anyone got one? Or does anyone know a link to the screenshot on the net (however, I've searched for one and I think it doesn't exist).

Actually, there is a entire page dedicated to that game ...
Double Dragon
I found this very nice page when searching information about this title!
