...and let's hope someone does not offer itself to crack the DUMP for a "perfect" play on emulators...
Maybe I should use the moderator alert. My arrival to the post means that the "Circus is now complete". What am I, a clown?
I was being serious on my previous post. I truly believe Kralizec is playing a joke on us. He can't be serious.
It remains a debatable decision.
I wanted to buy the cartridge since I felt it's worth it.
I've never come across any pirated version nor did I look for that (it hadn't even come up in my mind).
And now I should 'get' it somewhere if I want to play the game? (and I do want to)
Yes, I'm telling you the truth - the existence of a pirated version hadn't even come up to me. To me it's simple; if people are still actively selling their stuff, you don't steal it. Standard thinking, really. It's up to the developers if they want to sell their work or distribute it for free.
There's fantastic emulators and loads of games around, all for free, and to some people, this one game has to be for free as well? I don't understand. Is it arrogance, stupidity, or just plain laziness or cynicism? Jealousy? Don't know. But the mentality stinks, that's for sure.
Unfortunately this is the mentality of several MSX "users" give nothing but want everything in exchange. I perfectly understand anyone could face better or worse economic situation along his live but totally different is avoid to collaborate with MSX community in different ways to keep it alive. We only need to respect, very easy isn't it? Maybe not...
cool story, bro
Tiresome discussion.
I'd like to adhere to Konamito's words, which to me say a lot, and actually all I would want to say myself.

Rough translation (my Spanish is not so good; I 'feel' it when I read it but it's hard for me to mould it into English):
"I like to think that, perhaps in the heat of the emotions, things are perceived in a certain way, and that Kralizec's departure may not be permanent. The quality of their games surpass the average in many ways. If it's not the case that they will reconsider their decision, we will be left with pain in the heart, but altogether we are thankful for their fantastic work in supporting the standard."
The translation is very accurate ;)
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
Where they play the right cracked games
Getting in the swing
You come to look for a KingAnything could be that ROM!
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of emulation, asm and cracking
Everything is fine
You're in the mood for a game
And when you get the chance...You are the Drama Queen
Young and sweet, only seventeen
Drama Queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine. Oh Yeah!
You can Abandon the scene!
You can Scream!
Having the time of your life
See that girl
Watch that MSX scene
Dig in the Drama QueenQuote:
Scanning the MSX scene in the city tonight
We're looking for you to start up a fight
There's an evil feeling in our brains but it's nothing new
You know it drives us insane
Running on our way, hiding you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths
Running on our way, hiding you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy
James is an evil (g)hey!
I honestly don't believe Kralizec has left the msx scene. I mean all this work thrown away just because of one cheat code, don't make any sense to me. I wish it was April's fool day but it aint.
Or he already had decided to leave and was just waiting for the right moment to announce it or (and I hope) Kralizec was just kidding and gettting back to MSX scene ASAP, because if not, his games will eventually fall into the "piracy allowed" category just because they are no longer published and sold anymore.
