Well, if you don't agree, then perhaps I would try to download a pirate version somewhere... Wink

If that is what you want... I couldn't care less about whether you'd buy or copy our game once it's finished. It would tell me a whole lot about you though. *Spits on everyone who copies new MSX products* (I thought we were past that era in MSX history now).

Hey Eduardo, taking this silly argument aside, if you made Guru Logic for MSX1 so good, you've set a standard in moders MSX1 development! Now I understand why you can put A1GT as 1st prise on MSXDEV-04: no one stand a chanse to beat you in MSX game development Smile

This is so awesome! Will you make MSXDEV-05? I will participate for sure Wink

To be consistent with your principles, you should also spit on anyone who copies MSX software (new or old). But perhaps it is not always easy to spit on your own face Wink

I never copy new products. Never. I try not to copy old products, but that is unfortunately often impossible because they can not legally be acquired anymore. So yes, I am very consistent with my own principles.

Nevertheless it was partly due to my asking that a game such as MoonLight Saga has become available again (ofcourse Sunrise and Ikeda did the work...).

Of course that it will be a MSXdev'05 game development competition. But don't think that the level will be as low as in MSXdev'03. First you should look at the first complete MSXdev'04 entry: a 8 KB BATTLE TETRIS that is astonishing! (and not mine, of course). And there are some more projects way better than mines. But Mr. Konamiman (Nestor Soriano) will decide...

It is good to know that more and more people will join MSXdev!

Lol, folks, you two are the most gentle and talented developers, why are you fighting?

Why not cooperate? I must admit I'm not an ideal peace maker, because I had very hard time ignoring abuse from certain individual who hated my guts and used F-words and general hatred to fight back my intelligent and sarcastic 100% offencive words free replays.

But you two are the best, you don't need to fight! You dont even share the territory!

Pitpan is minimalist who takes his pride in producing the best results using standard no-thrills MSX1 with 32K rom and no fdd.

Grauw and his team are cutting edge TurboR + GFX9000 + MoonSound + IDE HDD and CD-ROM type of developers.

I don't get it Smile

So do I, Grauw.

Now, seriously, I do not copy new MSX productions. But, as you say, is not always easy to get all those "classic" MSX games legally. That's why I am still buying original MSX1 ROM games at eBay. I could easily upload them to MegaFlashSCC, but I prefer to have the original thing, because they are real masterpieces of MSX coding.

The only problem was that: GURU LOGIC.

But for sure I admire what you do and what you are able to do. I must admit that I haven't moved to MSX2 for 2 different reasons: first of all, because MSX1 was the first computer that I had, and I really love it. Secondly, I couldn't do anything interesting for MSX2. That's why I will stick to MSX1 forever more.

Bandwagon did fantastic stuff for MSX1... Too bad they was despised by people who was bitching around that demos have no value, only games do...

I think there is place for both. And it's a shame that luck of respect made Bandwagon move on to PC... But they are still very cool, their new prodicts work on Win32/Linux x86/Mac OS X...
