Great stuff!
Good news!
The interview with Dennis Hemmings (Konami's retired PR man in the UK) is now avaliable online from a link on my website. Some of the qustions have not been answerewed, although as you see most of them have, like I said in my last post, there is not really any chance of any follow up questions.
I have tried to lay it out as various MSXers asking the questions, I have attributed each question to the person who asked it - hope I haven't made many errors!
One interesting thing is that Komani had no R&D departments outside of Japan, the so called interview with the Konami engineer is obviously proved with no doubt in mind to be a fake!
Happy reading MSXers!
that looked very nice! ^__________^
Very interesting interview!
Okay, that's the last time I'll drop a shitload of questions to ask a prominent person. :\
Nonetheless a very nice interview. I hope more members will be able to do such interviews with prominent persons... Like Wammes or Frank (or ANMA)?
Well at least one important question is answered: piracy was in those time not the reason Konami quit MSX, it was the commercial profit on the more popular consoles...
If I aint mistaken, there was also a MSX console released in Japan. My best guess is that Konami got a special contract with Nintendo for making new games for that platform. That could be the reason why Konami stopped making games for the MSX.

ofcourse that's not the story we've been brainwashed with for many years...
Absolutely Wolf....
Hmm, David, can you (or someone else) restore the interview with Dennis?
