What FUD???
AFAIK FUD means "Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt", none of which make sense in this context...

about the topic

when i saw "FREEDOM" at the topic of the forumpost (the first time), then i thought, oohh the same FREEDOM as here....... so what the big problem about freedom?

so then, continue reading...... and ohhhhhhhh more "propaganda" about msxposse in the wrong place!.

that is very annoniying.... but, anyway here is really FREEDOM, so the topic finally wasn't deleted....

but it start another offtopic thread....

and, then i see , ofcourse, that come from msxposse promotors.

Dhau: seems to me there are many more people posting here than me and Guyver, and Bifi isn't even posting at all. So it must not be only TNI. I feel delighted that you credit TNI (including me) this much, but please, get a grip. And let this thread die out, because I'm getting tired of all the msxposse shit going on lately. Makes me wonder if you don't have anything better to do. You've got your own forum, don't you! Go hang out there then instead of stirring up trouble overhere.

TSk...... Guys... I really don't get it.

I've been on this forum for quite some time and I found it to be the number one source of any MSX news and it has taken over almost all English ways of MSX communication (mainly international mailinglist and newsgroup)...

I would sincerly thank the MRC team for all their great work!! Please guys, don't let yourself get too tired because of all the people that are bashing.... I know how much work and money you are putting into all this... ALl this free time and devotion and then getting these really awful e-mails and forum posts... Unbelievable.

Honestly, I have never experienced any bans or removed posts myself. It's a pity that people sometimes stop thinking and start posting weird stuff... The fights are really reall REALLY bad for forums like this... It's not so strange that people get banned if they keep starting fights... THere is a way to handle this people: just have a normal discussion and stay polite. It's not that hard, you know... It really makes me sad if I see another rant going on here on MRC... It's so useless and indeed based on simple misunderstandings or exaggerated reactions... Just count to 10 first and think a bit before posting something... sigh...

Ah well. I don't mind that people are 'leaving' MRC forums. I just hope the fighting will get to a minimum... If you read these threads... really... it's too sad for words. PEACE people!!

(And no: I'm not saying I'm a saint myself and I'm of course not perfect, just like all human beings are not perfect. Also the MRC people are not perfect of course and they have every right to remove posts from their own web site. And yes, of course news and other stuff is filtered through them. But hey, that's what you know if you get here. It's not a public place, it's a private web site which tries to support the MSX communicty... So, if you can't live with it or the policies: no one said you had to stay with it, you're always free to go to another forum, use mailinglist or newsgroups, etc...)

And again: RESPECT and THANKS to the MRC crew for all their very hard work!

MRC crew: please try to understand why all this is happening. Why normal and peaceful MSX users become suddenly angry. Why regular contributors quit to different pages. Your site works fine, but there is a subtle manipulation underneath. Again, for me it isn't clear enough that this is a hobbist community.

Your strong guidelines do not represent the whole community. I decided to put this topic on-line because this is too much for me. I haven't been involved in those last flamewars, but I knew for sure that if I entered them, they could get even worse. I cannot partipate in a forum where every time that I say something I am automatically injuried by some people. I must admit that sometimes I have been unpolite to Guyver, who has been straight rough, but our friendship is quite old Wink

I will continue my MSX projects, just in the way that I understand and feel the MSX spirit, as I did in the past. I will reduce my participation here to a minimum, because every single word, every question, is always understood like a provocation. It is not. Those who know me personally, won't accept the portrait that you have made of me.

I read this forum daily even though I don't post that much. I must say that the MRC crew are doing a fantastic job with this site. Even though there are some nasty fights there are plenty of great news and constructive discussions. This is IMO the no 1 msx resource site and I hope people will continue to contribute and make it great in the future as well.

So to qoute manuel:

RESPECT and THANKS to the MRC crew for all their very hard work!

pitpan get this straight: I was peacefull with some guys, but suddenly some guys where pickin on MRC & Guyver (TNI if you like). I don't like this behaviour. Offcourse MRC 'failed' from time to time. But who doesnt. And one other thing, this community is getting pretty large. Everyone has his/her needs, and if the needs aren't met, they start to pis on something or somebody. You cannot, and may not want to have a big huge crowd happy.. It's man's nature. Sorry.. But I'v been in 3 years of therapy too learn that Wink

If you allready knew that it whould get out of had to submit yer own posts.. I'v got one word for you: 'self fulfilling prophecy'. That's all I have to say about that. I (and some others don't have) will always keep an open mind on things, end I find it sad you think this way.

I'm glad to hear you will support the msx scene and just won't suddenly quit because of the latsest things that happened recently.

And what portrait are you talking about btw? I don't really know you pitpan, but I keep an open mind.

That's all I had to say

i'm very tired about ppl that create forums-thread only because he want to start another fight and at the same time to promote another website, that is very far to be more peaceful and usefull than this......

and its contents is very far to be usefull, all because in those forums the only thing that some guys are writing is "insulting to MRC" and starting a "propaganda" conspiricying.

Is a shame that ppl is losing his time in those threads and in threads with unsense things like this one

So, put your hands onto MSX and makes wonderful things.

Your site works fine, but there is a subtle manipulation underneath. Again, for me it isn't clear enough that this is a hobbist community. You see pitpan, you really have no right to get angry with MRC. None of those 'normal and peaceful MSX users' have...

Think of the www like a bar, and think of mrc as a table. You are free to sit at our table, and even to talk with us if you want. But now imagine yourself in a bar, getting angry with the people whose table you chose to sit at, because you don't like the way they discuss things at that table. Would you do this in real life? No you wouldn't... You would simply get up and see if there is another table where people are talking more to your liking.

Can you imagine me sending you an angry email because I don't like a game you have worked very hard on and provided to the MSX community for free? No. It is just too ridiculous to even think about. I would never do that, nor should you. If you don't like MRC, you should just leave... There's not even a need to announce your departure in this spectacular way, nor is there a need to come to this forum to promote an otherwise empty forum...
