Konami Game Collection dsk-images and copy protection?

I had problems with these earler also, but I though I'd start a new topic, since it's apparently copy protection related. I got the following dsk-images:

Konami Game Collection - Volume 1 (1988)(Konami)(Disk 1 of 2)[SCC].dsk
Konami Game Collection - Volume 1 (1988)(Konami)(Disk 2 of 2)[SCC].dsk
Konami Game Collection - Volume 2 (1988)(Konami)[SCC].dsk
Konami Game Collection - Volume 3 (1988)(Konami)[SCC].dsk
Konami Game Collection - Volume 4 (1988)(Konami)[SCC].dsk
Konami Game Collection Special (1989)(Konami)[SCC].dsk

Of which only the Konami Game Collection - Volume 1 (1988)(Konami)(Disk 2 of 2)[SCC].dsk can be opened in Disk manager. Apparently that image is not copy protected... For the same reason the other images above won't open in Disk manager, these images also do not work with SD Interface 2.2 (except the Konami Game Collection - Volume 1 (1988)(Konami)(Disk 2 of 2)[SCC].dsk). How can I get these images opened/working/un-copy ptotected?

*edit*
In BlueMSX the images work naturally ok

IIRC these disks don't have any filesystem and therefore you can't open them with Disk Manager.
How ever this has nothing to do with copy protection and these disks are not copy protected.

OK, thanks for the info. Would you have any suggestion why those disk do not work with SD Interface 2.2? They usually just hang at the Disk Basic. Every other dsk-image that I have tried (must be way over a hundred by now) has worked ok.

Ok, thanks Smile One more thing (sorry for a stupid question): What other dsk-images are there with no file system? I'd like to try if they work or not.

Ok, tried D.A.S.S and it works just fine. I'll have to test some more. Maybe the Konamis collections need some special boot "parameter" listed below:

Boot Option
- [INS] Key : Skip installing DOS2 Kernel. DOS1 Kernel will be used.
This can slove some SW compatiblity issue.
(Eg: Metal Gear2 disk version, and etc)
- [CTRL] Key : Force to enable one drive only
- [TAB] Key : Disable ROM Banking of SCC
This protect unwanted ROM-banking from some game,
which causes BIOS hang-up.
This can slove some SW compatiblity issue.
(Eg: FEEDBACK, QUINPL, and etc)
- [SHIFT] Key : Skip installing DOS2 Kernel, and
Force to boot disk directly on MMC/SD DOS1 Disk-ROM.
This will cause disable internal FDD (eg. A1WSX, A1GT)
This can slove some SW compatiblity issue.
(Eg: KOEI Gaems, and etc)
- [Z] Key : Force to use V1 HW driver. (for slow-down disk speed)
This can slove some SW compatiblity issue.
(Eg: XAK series, and etc)

Thank you soo much Smile The CTRL did it. Acually *I had* tried to boot the collections with the ctrl down already, but apparently I didn't press it long enough/early enough. What a bliss to have the classics with SCC sound Big smile
