I have not checked it. But probably, any MSX that reserve/use memory in #e800 at boot time, could have problems.

Today I was in Mesias home testing the rom with the patch and doesn't work. Only with CTRL. More info about this patch?

Hummm. I saw a fix for this a long time ago. I thought it was the MSX IPS archive's one. This archive always confuses me by it's lack of detailed descriptions on what most patches do.

I searched for the said A1ST fix for GM2 on the Net, but unfortunately couldn't find it anymore.

GM1 & GM2 also has another known bug: It looks for the string "isk BASIC" (see address 4226h on GM1 cartridge, and 4B18h on GM2) to find the diskdrive interface. But this doesn't work for all interfaces. It had trouble with many brazilian disk interfaces.

Yes, I know, I tested on a GT and works perfect. What happens with ST? Works with only 256k?

On my ST with 512kB internally I have no problem at all. I use the GM2 patch for MegaFlashROM SCC and then you don't need to hold CTRL during boot ;) Everything works well. You need to flash the patched GM2 to block 0 using OPF.COM GMASTER2.ROM /B0 and the Konami game to block 1, for example Metal Gear: OPF.COM MGEAR.ROM /B1. If you press STOP and then CTRL in game, you will enter the disk load/save menu.

So, it's indeed a bug of the GM2 and not the ST. With the MegaFlashROM SCC you can correct this on ST, fortunately. Cheers!

I made a patch to fix the Game Master 2 boot. It also includes the fixes made by BiFi.

Guillian: the description is supposed to be between the url tags, not directly after the = character. Smile I've fixed your post for you.

I know, I know... ^^!
I just filled the fields in the wrong order and did not checked the post. I should write the code directly.
Thanks for fixing it.
