50 pin card edge connector with long legs

I have a slightly damaged cartridge connector in my SVI-728.

I've desoldered the old connector but the replacement that I have has significantly shorter legs than the original.

Anyone know a place to source a suitable replacement or a way to fabricate a riser?

I happened to find some at the local electronics store. A bit tight fit without slightly carving the connector ends.

Yes but the legs need to be 12 mm.

Sounds familiar... MSX has about 1mm wider connector compared to PC ISA-connector...

I have same problem with panasonic MSX2+
I have to replace the Cartridge connector....

The connectors with longer pins are used for old method called "wire wrap". If you search for wirewrap connectors you should find the longer pin models.

I think its ok but there is a slight play left to right so you could almost insert and touch the pins next to the intended ones.

warning : the wire wrap connector have strong square pin , difficult to insert in the round hole of slot in mainboard
