Hello,

Could you please tell the model (International, Spanish) and post a picture of the underside label of your SVI-728 ?

SVI-728

We are trying to understand the codes written in the label.

How many models are there ? International (NTSC) and Spanish (PAL) ?

I think there was at least German, Norwegian/Denmark, Swedish/Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian, Arabian and some other models... I think, tracking down all the versions is not going to be very easy.

There must be at least an NTSC version, a PAL / European version and this Arabic version found in 2014.

Mine came from Spain and has a red "P" label, which I think, stands for PAL.

I found 5 models so far:

1 - International kbd with big MSX logo at left side. Box shows only SVI 728:

3 - "Spanish" model with "Ñ" letter, PAL video (which I have):

I can't figure out whether models 1, 2 and 5 are NTSC or PAL. Please help if you can.

An also, please collaborate you too. I just want a picture of top, another of the bottom, and one close of serial number.

Maybe people of OpenMSX would want also ROM dumps and pictures of inside...

I can recognize Arabic version.

@gdx, I think the link you submitted is broken. Please update.

The key is the key to the right of "L" key.

On international keyboard is ";"

On Spanish keyboard is "Ñ";

On Danish/Swedish, maybe Polish is "Ö". In this version you can see that for 22 keys the plastic and the outline are slightly different.

It is strange, the International SVI-728 is sometime indicated 'Personal Computer' and sometime 'Home Computer'.

And good point, there are two versions of the "SVI728" plate for the international model.

I have both the 1 and the 2 model. They're PAL.
