I'm a bit confused with this game, apparently the game comes in 8 disks, but then the set in TOSEC has 13 disks, 4 of which are data disks and it's missing disk #9. So disks 1 to 8 are the game disks and disks 10 to 13 are the data disks.

What am I missing here?
What's up with the missing disk 9 (shouldn't this be data disk 1?) and does the game really use 4(!) data disks?

Looks like a pretty cool game, too bad the translation was never finished.

The game has 8 disks. The disks 10-13 are probably userdisks containing saves. You can save to any empty disk. I guess someone just used many saves or userdisks from multiple people got combined.

And indeed it is a shame. Hopefully it will be finished some day.

So the game only uses 1 save disk? I figured it could be something like that, but it's still strange why there's no disk #9.

Yes, it is a shame they didn't put an extra label in the box for the save disk, like with sd-snatcher. Thinking of it, was sd-snatcher the only game to put an extra label in the box for the save game ? I haven't seen that with other games.

Oh wait. They were band-aid *of* Fray which came with Xak - The Tower of Gazzel (check page 43 of MCM 52).
But the user disk label of Fray was not a mix-up with another game ;)

Tower (?) of Cabin has a user disk sticker as well.
