What would you like to discuss about them? Metal Gear is not that rare at all, Metal Gear II and SD-Snatcher aren't really that rare either, only very expensive by now. But that's my oppinion. But still, what about them? What to discuss? There are much more rare titles than the ones you named here Smile

The only thing about those games is that the copies which are around won't be sold. But if they are, people ask rediculous prices and the madcaps are even willing to spend it. Rare? Yes, a bit since there are more people who want them than there are available.
However, I wonder how often (on daily basis) an old school MSXer owning either of them actually boots up his (male/female) MSX to play any of them. I dare bet weeks go by with no Solid Snake activity going on on a real MSX. Ey, it's a bet, not a fact.

For what it's worth, I doubt there's any demand for Arabic educational software outside the region of its origin. Dunno about the MSX population around there, but I'd find it likely that there should be enough copies for every MSXer around there, unless they were thrown away when the owner bought another computer. Again, this wouldn't need be a fact since I'm far from Arabia and what's being tought there.
What is it actually?

I have a question about Metal gear 2... is it included a floppy disk as a complete box?

nope. some have place for three disks and some have not. the one with the place for disks has the inside of the (sd) snatcher casing, so i've heard.

You mean the disk you need to save? If i remember correctly, it is only a cartridge, no save disk. You need to use one of your own disks for that

We can save using Game Master 2.

Read what I wrote. It'll clear things up.

It is true there are afaik 2 boxes of metal gear 2. One box is the same as let's say Space manbow, so it only has place for 1 cartridge. The other version which I happen to own, is the same box as SD-snatcher, only with a cartboard inlay that "hides" the diskette slots and only reveils the cartridge slot. My guess is they had a lot of those boxes left form both snatcher games and used them up first.

And as far as saving to diskette, to my knowledge someone made a patch so you can save to disk with Metal Gear 1. Metal Gear 2 Always had this option. Konami didn't provide a save game diskette.
