Hi all,

We have maked a clone of the msx game Peach-up Excellent or Griel's Quest for THE Sangraal. What do you thinking of it? THE game called: Castle Rooms. It's only for THE Android. You can download THE Lite version for free in THE Google Play store on HTTPS://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.michelrena...
If you like it or you have à question please let us know.

I tried the first dozen of stages and I must say that I still like this game a lot! How ever...

Considering how simple game this is, it uses way too much power from battery. I also think that the original MSX2 version looks way better and even the MSX1 remake looks more polished although it is only 1/1000 in size. Controls are on top of play field and in free version when you play in landscape mode the ads are also masking your move counter & top row...

When we put all this small rant away, it is still a good game and I love to see it available also for next generation of players. As an MSX user I'm not the best audience as I already know these better versions.

How many levels were taken from the original game?

It has been too long time since I played the originals, so I can't really tell... At first glance they did not feel too familiar, so I think they may be even original design. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Shameless advertisement: Did you know that you can create your own stages to Peach Up version with "Exelent editor" that I made in 1994?

That's good to hear. Smile By the way, what's up with the capitalized "THE"?

Hi.
I have a little clarification about your editor.
By the link to "Exelent Editor" you have the archive name exactly the same as the archive name on the link to "FDD-EMO version 0.5 beta". The name of both archives is "fddemu05.lzh". And judging by the name of the archive, it seems to me, but it refers specifically to "FDD-EMO version 0.5 beta". The archive size is just over 8 kb. There are two files in the archive "FDDEMU.COM " and "FDDEMU.TXT "I thought maybe it was a glitch and it was the editor that was posted earlier, but going to the archive of the site through the Wayback Machine (2008), there is the same archive with the same name. Perhaps no one has ever been able to use your editor and he was not there all these years. Correct me if I'm wrong. And if there is an opportunity, could you please re-upload if it's not him.

Sorry if something is wrong, I used the Yandex translator.
Thanks
