That's awesome.
Silky smooth as well.
Looks like your technical 'pivot' was a good one. Wink

Still working on the game, I have restructured a lot of code, since it was becoming quite messy. I just animated the water flow and I am implementing Moby. After that I will design some levels (I have around 40 atm). I will keep you guys posted!

By coincidence, I just found out today that Lolo (and Lala) make regular appearance in the Kirby games :D. And that, aside from the Adventures of Lolo games on Nintendo systems which I knew of, also three Eggerland games were released for PC, which go back to the original title, story, and include a level editor again. Seem to be a direct sequel :). (I prefer the originals though :D.)

(Hmm, looking at Eggerland Episode 0 on Youtube, some levels seem familiar…)

I have created a ghost to compete against and I have created the conveyor belt, which opens up some interesting mechanics!

This is the current progress of the game:

- Added playable Roro/Lala
- Toggle between NES and MSX graphics
- Better user interface and user experience
- Tons of enhancements for smooth gameplay (the game is a lot more complex than I thought)

In this clip, I create a map from scratch and play it, first in MSX graphics, then in NES graphics. You can see the new conveyor belt in action as well!

When the second play is done, I select 'replay', so you can see the ghost play the level.

Nice! How does the Publish button work?

It does not, yet Smile But here's how I imagine it working somewhere in the future:

When you are editing, everything you do, is automatically saved, locally. This allows you to tweak your level until it feels right (this already works as you have seen in the clip). When it's finished, you can press 'publish' and the level will be available for everyone. You won't be able to edit the stage again, since people might get scores on your stage.

But before that works, I first have to have user management (so we know it was you who made the stage) and think of a way to select stages.
