That was a nice video! Fun to watch, giving a fair outsider’s opinion, and I didn’t notice any real inaccuracies either. I liked the different variety of games they showed, both good and bad, although at the same time there are some that I wish they’d covered too (instead of say Rastan Saga) that would’ve made the system shine a bit more Smile.

I always hoped they would do a MSX review in one of their upcoming videos. There have been some glues in previous episodes and now it had come true. I think it is very hard to decide which games to review if you have so much to choose from. I would do the same: take the one you have. I like Joes's and Dave's vids. And I like MSX. Shiny!

I posted a comment on the video recommending a bunch of other titles for them to review next go-around, and they did respond, so hopefully they'll include some of the more notable omissions in the future (my suggestions included Psycho World, Fire Hawk, Hinotori, Maze of Galious, Usas, Super Cooks, and a number of you guys' homebrew games).

I also disagreed with them on Vampire Killer (which I think is a bloody masterpiece that supersedes the NES version), and on their statement that Aleste Gaiden's music kinda sucks (that first stage theme from Aleste Gaiden is probably my favorite in the entire Aleste series!), but yeah -- overall, as is usually the case with Game Sack, I think that was a nice, fair look at the platform from an outsider's perspective. Definitely a worthwhile watch!

Me too Smile. A lot of the titles they looked at were titles whose names were probably familiar to them from other systems, so a comparison is then easily made about which version is superior, and it really depends on the quality of the port (e.g. Fantasy Zone). I hope with the suggestions, which they asked for in the comments (which was nice), they will do a follow-up with more games which are considered MSX classics or at least good ports.

Like Mr. Ghost, Xak, Fire Hawk, Dragon Slayer VI, Quarth, Psycho World, Eggerland, etc.

After that comment, I had to go to the roof to collect my eyebrows, indeed.

I'm wondering what effect these kind of videos will have on the prices of MSX games and computers now that they are opening up a whole new market of retro collectors.
