Angelo Sanna, Alex did not suggest a newspost in the MRC. All that happened were a Facebook talk, where he ask me to help contributing his Twitch events in the MRC. I would love to, I said. Take some time next weekend I said. after that thought about a picture to introduce the newspost. That's what I'm famous for Smile
That might need time. Sometimes inspiration comes instantly, sometimes it takes longer. I did not know there is need to hurry, otherwise I would had denied my help.
Did I annotated that I like what Alex do?
And I did apologize several times now for being late. Here and in PMs to Alex.
I'm fine with that. Hope Alex is too.

Well, I do not think anybody is paid by the donations to msx.org, they just go to the site hosting and fair organizations?

I'm assuming animation and moderation of the site is done on a voluntary basis, and Hamlet is one of the persons here dedicating the more of his free time and energy to MSX.

So I think it's better avoiding beeing too rude with the volunteers here (not saying criticism is not allowed!) - we might just end up with nobody left managing and keeping this site alive... and we do not want that Smile

This is love.
We do it in our spare time. Nobody pays us for it.
Not just the admins and webmaster. All of us. You and me.
We are all here voluntarily to share:
Feelings and experiences.
The love for our computers.
Sometimes we taunt each other.
Sometimes we love each other.
But it is not a business.
Never.
If it's so, this side would't be as it is.
Everything we do happens of our own free will.
Nice to see you active again Angelo Sanna!

So, if it is about love, you might love the contributes of any, like mr. Hydragon!

I mean the decision to take action if someone post something important about MSX related stuff. Why it would take months to do that? Is that love or business? What is your motive? Just asking. No hard feelings. My contribute to this site & MSX is also from the heart. Wink

Again, there is no business here just users who spend their free with dedication and no compensation at all. On top of that we have to be patient and try to deal with persons like you, people who only know how to create conflict points and discouragement among MRC staff and MSX community in general. Nothing new, we are used to reading words like those from time to time. The problem is when an apology is not enough, we are not your servants, keep this in mind.

This is also the main problem, always in defending mode, always play the victim, it is always up to someone else. Indeed, nothing new. You don't have 'to deal' with persons like me. It is not about me, it is about, like I said, how do you deal with someone's enthusiasm and passion for the MSX. Deal with that, not with me. But the history of many of this 'conflicts' lies in the nature of how some deal with someone else's enthusiasm. It seems as if some people find themselves too important, and this kind of people are running this whole thing. So don't try to tell me what is going on. Thank you.

I noticed lately this is a threat about Alex' activity on Twitch. Wanna talk about?

Angelo, do you really think your rude reactions here will improve anything?

That will just make volunteers go away, and you'll have nobody else to complain on, as this site will just not exist anymore.... Problem solved. Perfect. Ah welll..

I hope you meant “thread” and not “threat” (although with all the accusations flying around here I could imagine it was a Freudian slip of the tongue...).

Anyway, back on topic again please lads, I prefer not to have to lock this thread because people like to keep flinging accusations at each other.

Lol. That is your problem, you fill in things. Please, speak for yourself. If I really don't care about MRC, I had never did an donation! I believe in MRC, and I'm happy with this initiative, but always stay open for critic to improve things. But as I believe you, you see critic as something wrong and negative. "Ah well", your problem, not mine.

There are just different ways of expressing criticism... I never said nobody should complain, but using rude words really does not help in anything I guess ?
