seems to run fine on Wine 4.0.2, but a native GNU/Linux version would be really neat!
Could not reproduce that, Gig71.
Maybe it's a specific image issue? If yes, I'd like to have it for testing.
I can open my images by all means - Open File, dragging into window, clicking in the browser.
Sorry guys, atm the tool set I'm using to make this app is Win32 only.
Making it multi-platform will require a rewrite from scratch.
It was sort of experimental program that just evolved to a state when I decided to share it with others.
I'll be adding more features to the current prototype, though.
The next bigger ones should be built-in text/hex viewers for both files and physical sectors.
At some point I'd want a BASIC detokenizer as well, but that's a whole thing in itself.
Maybe when renaming files is better if we could rename extension too.
This actually works. Just make the full name as 'FILE.EXT' and it will update extension, too.
It's the way ListView32 works that you can only have inplace editor in the first column.
About Hex editor , it give to a tool a professional look! great idea.
That's the next larger thing I'll be implementing for this app.
And, I'm not asking, only a tip.
Maybe a viewer for basic files (ascii and tokenized), with a option to export it as ascii file.
I currently use Msx View v 1.1 from shingo minag to view content of basic files.
Just a tip, it's not a request !
Asking and requesting is perfectly fine with me as it's all about adding useful and feasible features and I like doing it
A new version
Version 0.0.6
* A super-simple built-in text only viewer was added (it doesn't like binary files, yet!)
* Various minor tweaks

@robodrunk do you intend to publish the source code on github or something? Perhaps that way you could also get some contributions.
hi robodrunk.
Tested the new version and it don't give me that error.
everything works great !
Hi.
I'd like to post here a zip file containing the version 0.0.5 and a disk file to test.
But I don't know how to make an attachment here .

You cannot attach files, you will have to post it somewhere else online and provide a link.
Thanks a lot! I really like the simplicity and ease of use. This is nkw my favorite tool to managing dsk images.
Have you think to support openMSX HD images? I know maybe I'm asking for too much and I'm already grateful for the tool in this state. But it will make the ultimate FDD/HD image tool
