Near the hague. Westland, rijswijk, delft? Do you have an idea which of the components is failing or are you suspecting a bad solder. You are very close so a visit with some tools is no problem.

Sweetlake, to be precise. I've got no clue which part is failing. I know it has a brand new cartridge connector, so that's now the problem. Its the electronics upline from the cartridge too the processor but what, I don't know.

I don't suspect a component. If it was a component you'd probably have malfunctions in the other slot as well.
Like said, probably a cold solder on the connector on the mainboard (the row of pins you connected the new slot connector unit to).

For MSX2+ I'd say go to Omega. I can't recommend him enough. He saved so much of my precious hardware. Big bags of kudos to Daemos as well as he lent an MSX2+ of mine for his game and sent it back with loads of nice fixes. Until he had it, it was a crate of donor parts, afterwards it was a fully respected machine again Smile

Sweetlake... Are you kidding me! This means that you are like max 10 km away from my position. Mail me.

Communicating with them as we speak. As a side effect: its always nice to meet MSX fans in real life.
