I'd like to buy a serial interface, specifically Repro Factory HBI-232MKII or Sony HBI232 if someone is willing to sell for a reasonable price.

Thanks, but according to the wiki that one does not have bios...

You could be right. I used it with Erix and I'm sure I never used bios consciously.
