Oh yeah, this cheat is almost unknown here in the west:
When main character enters the teleport device for the first time, press "S", "D", "F", "G", "H", "J", "K", and "L" until the disk switch message is shown. All equipment parts and weapons will be 999 and you can continue far more times than normal.
