If it does "reset" you could maybe still make it work by adjusting the allotment (R#27) at line 164 - 64 = 100, using an extra screen split. Thus start display with PRY=0, change to PRY=1 at line 100 and then the priority switch comes into effect at line 164. At line 164 you can still have your palet / scroll split.
