This computer is interesting for tinkering if it can be found cheap. By cons, without an flash card interface, it is painful to use. MSX1s are a thousand times better.

Hah, funny joke)
Leo Binkowski, the NABU software developer at the time, answered to this:

Quote:

Yes. The MSX Z80 source was supplied by Konami. Sadly, because ASCII was the only encoding available back then, which is pure english, the hundreds of pages of Z80 assembler source code had about 15 comments in it. One stuck in my mind "Hiragana section". I suspected it was their Hiragana font graphic representations, since it was just a big data block

I guess that those sources include (unused) libraries/include files. Antarctic Adventure had no Hiragana texts (AFAIK) so the final “product” would not need any hiragana fonts.

Oh, c'mon! Yes, it's a hype. But the Nabu network is back online, the works on FDC replica are underway and a Flash Storage solution coming soon. Z88DK is adapted for Nabu PC, and even ColecoVision BIOS has been run on it.

And nobody here is selling it I believe, this is all out of pure curiosity and in the name of science :)

And if you are interested you can play "Antarctic Venture" in pure bootleg experience (I doubt they paid the copyrights, they removed all Konami screens left only the watermark on the map). This ports seems a straight MSX hacked see the South Pole in Japanese. The colecovision has it in English: https://youtu.be/_yhbQJ145mQ?t=2054

Or is it? A few posts back it's stated that the source has been supplied by Konami. So apparently Nabu has paid for it. I wonder if that source has survived...
