Really? Well, then tell me: how will IE7 perform on my Ubuntu?
Even on windoze firefox is much better. [etc]

Disaster?!? Only the smilies won't work properly, they are not placed at the cursor position, but after the latest entered character.And silly me thought that was an MRC bug rather than an Iceweasel bug...
in other browsers it starts about half the width of the screen while loading, and ends up a lot smaller when all content is loaded.Indeed, but that doesn't bother me that much. I guess that's the rendering engine catching up with the html & css it is loading...
