some new lines added (without the crappy cpm does not print the message to the screen...)
In 2009 somebody typed (or scanned) SUPER STAR TREK from David Ahl´s book. (founder of CREATIVE COMPUTING) I was going to type that game from that book and publish it here back then, but somebody was faster than I.
This seems to be for MSX2 and upwards only. It instantly gave me "Invalid parameter" when game started.
Yes, I knew that even 40 column mode on MSX1 is not enough for Star Trek game. But maybe you could easily change PRINTs to support 40 column SCREEN 0.
Here is Super Star Trek:
Thanks! I have compiled the original super start trek too and to the page
It rocks !!

Cool thanks for the conversion, will play test and let you know.
This one brings back memories, I made a derivative for the BBC Micro based on super star trek, but with an open galaxy i.e. sector via just showed a window of the entire array. Constant on screen display, enemies where smarter, moved around and attacked star bases etc. Ran it out of memory so was given permission to compile it on the mainframe - not sure if is still out there.
Will enjoy giving these a go - thanks!

Can be played online, no need for downloading. :) Has animation too, GREAT GAME!!!!!
Great link!! when do we do the same with msx basic??
The adapted TRS80 BASIC code can be seen at the HTML source code of the page. Any volunteers out there?
I've just started the port to msx basic of some of the programs in TSRBASIC in the library
Nice! I've already seen your recently ported maze generators. I should adapt a good one to assembler to code SNAIL MAZE II - BIOMAZE HAZZARD!
eager to see it!
