Ok, a new Konami question... (it could be a little subjective, by the way...)
When you're playing Usas and you complete a stage, the game shows a little demo. Well... the tune you can hear in the demos is (IMHO) based on a tune from another Konami game... it seems the tune in Usas has been 'overwritten' on the other one. Which game am I talking about?
Judging by the style and release dates, I'd say Penguin Adventure. Is it the PA tune in the underwater stages?
I'd say it's 'The Last Mission'...
It is!
For info: the filters used were 'Map > Fractal Trace' (which gives really wicked distortion effects
) and 'Edge-Detect > LaPlace', as andete already observed.
Imanok's next...And what does the original look like then?

No, it's not Penguin Adventure.
A little hint: it's not a MegaRom
I know... it's the cycling event of Hyper Sports 3

YESSSSSSSS!!!
Great!... I thought I was the only one thinking that!!
Bifi's turn!!
By the way Bifi... haven't you played 'The Last Mission'?... it has a cool concept, some kind of 'Head over Heels'.

The original was a 80x80 pixel square around the main character in the screenshot at Generation MSX

I ran the tune and it suddenly occured to me... This tune really sounds a lot like that one...

Both songs seem to be composed over the same base.
No, never played it.
Give it a try!
The original MSX2 game hangs on TR, but Martos made a fixed version you can find at hispamsx mailinglist archive.
No, never played it.
Ah... It's a very annoying game, but it's one of the few arcade games I've ever been able to finish
