I'm planning of buying this thing, but i can't find any info on it fron the net. The things that i'd like to know are:

-Does it have a built in power supply?
-What kind of video and audio connectors does it have?
-Can it play all MSX2 carts?

Please help me fast, the auction won't wait!

It is a standard MSX-2 Phlips machine, so yes, it will play all.

It does NOT have a diskdrive builtin.

I already looked from that site and it doesn't seem to have the info about the connectors (RCA or DIN for composite video?) and it doesn't say if the power supply is built in or not.

Shite, that's it then. I'm not going to buy that machine, because getting a decent composite/RGB cable for it will cost as much as the machine itself. Hopefully there will be a MSX2 with RCA composite out and a decent price on eBay soon.

Stop the press! Smile I just heard from the seller that this particular machine has a SCART-connector. I guess there are different revisions.

It does have DIN and SCART connectors; making a DIY cable for it is reasonably simple. And not very expensive, too, at least, if you can get hold of the connectors in the country where you live.

Buying the parts is never a problem, but making a working cable out of them with my soldering skills is quite impossible. Smile

Well, usually AUDIO, VIDEO and GROUND will do the trick... Hardly difficult... If you're really lazy you can even just stuff the wires in the appropriate holes... That's always worked for me Tongue
