Hi,
Anyone succesfully connected this machine to a VHD player? Any interfaces; original or homebrew out there?

The problem was that such machines (LD & VHD) were specific to the Japanese markets, what a pitty...

The only one I know who has a setup is Daniel Ravazzi. He made the VROOM! video on YouTube.

Hello,
I've found a program listing on the pages 222~232 of MSX Magazine 1985-11.
It's a game to be played with VHD player HD-7900, VHD disc VIDEO SCRAMBLE and of course IF-7900 interface.
I think someone used to Pioneer LD commands can study the software and figure out details of the hardware and the protocol.
Regards,
Werner

The VHD interface for the MSX2 HC-90/95 is IF-C9C. This interface sems to be very rare and more specific.

Found a picture of IF-C9C in MSX MAGAZINE 1986-12 page 98 top.
Three 40 pin DIP ICs... Maybe 82530 ?
