Mission does not emulate the Z80. It just replaces the ColecoVision BIOS with a MSX compatible one.
For a real emulator see GEM (Gameboy Emulator for MSX).
I do have that emulator and MSX-DOS v2.20. I might see if I can make the GB game displayed, and I see what you're talking about replacing the Coleco BIOS.
For GDX, I just want to show him the BIOS conversion I did. I have put the Spectravideo's SVI-603 BIOS on the MSX. The original and SCC work, although the color shading displays don't appear. If there's anything wrong with the converted ROM ($100-$20FF) please let me know. Enough of my talk, here is the SVI-603 for MSX loader. Enjoy! :)
Edit: I also need to let you know that the regular BIOS works in Mission too.
I'm using GEM v0.8. It runs the information very well, but after reading the MSXturboR CPU core, the error says, "***File Not Found". Is there any reason why it's doing this?
Sounds like you're missing the GEM.DAT file.
In Gem v0.8, the DAT file size is 111 (or 112) kB. As I insert the Game Boy file in WebMSX, it says that it cannot put the file in due to the space.
I might try the other versions.
As of now, I'm testing Tetris with v1.21. Loading right now.
Enabled V9990 screen mode, works. Thanks!
Make sure you insert an SCC too for the optimal sound experience.
