No idea, but Charles Bronson plays the main character
as far i know the onl game for MSX where Charles Bronson caracter is used is the death wish 3 ( and 1 end 2?).
But if i look to the game pictures on the box, then this is not death wish3.
It looks like this game is on a 3,5" floppydisk, i thought there where only cartridges in Korea?
btw, many korean cartridges got a label/cover which has nothing to do with the game!
w000t, Umax did that horn'ish creep in the background as Art Gallery pic in MCCM once..
Korean software was also released on tape and disk. MegaRom Firebird was released in Korea under name of zemina on a tape. Needed software was some sort of special memory mapper (named blackbox or something)

And on the inside TADA!
More VERY interesting things about korean MSX games and hardware can be found over here: www.hqunix.com/wp/?cat=3
Another interesting piece of hardware:
Strange things happened in Korea.....
WoW that mmc card adapter connector connected on the joystickport is a nice item!!

Abi: You have to click on '« Previous Entries' on that page to see other very rare Korean MSX stuff.
Abi: I think the MMC card adapter is cool too. The page about MMC on my site is Korean translation and the original article is in Japanese. So I think I have to inform you the original source. Here http://www.hat.hi-ho.ne.jp/tujikawa/mmc/mmc.html goes the original informaion in Japanese. Other hardwares and games boxes on my page are I captured! I guarantee :D
Huey: the hardware labeled "back-up tool" is a "back up tool". One slot(I think the slot at the back) is for the game cartridge and another is for S-RAM so that you can copy(dump actually) the contents of game cartridge to S-RAM, main memory, cassette tapes or floppy disks. It's simple hardware I suppose, it controls the slot select signals and memory / IO selector and the control is mapped to some I/O address space of Z80. Then you can actually on and off the ROM by software.
@Cronos: Hi and welcome to MRC. After some extensive searching (translating english keywords to korean) I have finaly found your website. You're website is full of very interesting stuff.
Are there more Korean websites also with valuable korean MSX information?
Huey: Thanks for reply.
As far as I know, I think I can tell you two Korean MSX related websites.
http://blog.dreamwiz.com/hanhogyu - this guy has many kind of MSX machine and his website is a blog mainly focused on MSX. all the information are in Korean.
http://blog.naver.com/saebaryo - MSX games and lots of non-MSX related stuffs. click "MSX" tag on his website.
all the information are in Korean.
Hi Cronos!
Nice to see you here indeed
Who made that back up tool? Is it Zemina or Daewoo hardware? Is there a product code? Of course I want to include it in the MSX hardware list...
