Hi all
I've been happily using GR8NET for many months, and I finally got the maximum juice from it when I configured my SD card as FAT12 (or was it 16?) to be able to boot NEXTOR using CALL NETSETMAP(24) (This boots something similar to 512 RAM, NEXTOR, SCC, FMPAK, etc...) I'm using a standard NMS 8250.
Anyway I'm not sure anymore if I've setup my MSX-DOS2 environment using GR8NET properly. I would say I followed the instructions 100% but who knows...
NEXTOR boots so "DOS2 seems to be working".
What happens next? I want to try using some MSX-DOS2 programs (VGMPLAY from Grauw for example), and while it boots perfectly and reproduces the song I chose via command line, when I press ESC to go back to DOS2, the dreaded message appears on screen, something similar to "Can't find a proper COMMAND.COM, insert one and press enter". I can only get out from there making a hard reset.
I'm writing all this from memory, I mean, maybe the version number of all the programs and tools here listed is relevant, but maybe not, and thus I'd like to know why MSX-DOS2 says "command.com not found blablalbal". Should I be aware of something else specially when using GR8NET in NETSETMAP(24) mode, specially when GR8NET is the only device capable of running NEXTOR for me ? If more fine tuning is needed, I'll gladly get the exact messages, versions, etc from my environment.
Or maybe GR8NET (booting it using NETSETMAP(24)) is not the best DOS2 environment?
Greetings and thanks in advance.

, it just can't return to COMMAND2.COM...
