I tried to connect my msx to a small cheap q-media tv with a scart cable, but that didn't work, i think that a more better known brand can proces the image of a msx, I've learned not all modern tv's can display a msx image, in my case the cheap tv doesn't.
maybe helpfull:

I have a Samsung T24C300 24" LCD TV for sale. I need to dust it off but otherwise it is in perfect condition, and via SCART it works fine with both my 60 Hz Panasonic FS-A1GT and my 50 Hz Yamaha CX5MII. It has SCART, HDMI, VGA, AV, component and antenna inputs. Available for pick-up only (I live in Utrecht). If you’re interested send me an offer at the email address on my profile page.
Due the corona virus i dont visit people, if shipping is an option i send you an email
I can leave it outside for you, or even drop it off at your place if you don’t have a car and it’s not too far from Utrecht, but shipping is too much hassle for me, the monitor is too big and shipping would be too expensive.
Today i'm getting a samsung T200HD
