If you find people who want to participate (really!) I will keep the stage free for it, but you'll have to arrange the rest yourselves! (Including equipment, amps, speakers, instruments, etc.)

I have all the equipment...needed for the sound. (From my former home-made music-studio where I used to practice with my band)
so this is no prob !
Now to find some more MSX-musicians...
anyone play the drums..guitar..keys? dont be shy....it's all for FUN !
I guess there's more than enough well-known, quite doable music in the rich MSX games library. We'll probably have trouble picking some.
that's for sure...so start choosing...I've almost completed my list... hehe
Mostly I do synth and could do bass guitar as well, in case you'd wanna grab a different instrument for one song etc.
you play the Synth that's great ! this is a must have for doing the lead and some strings...
and about grabbing a different instrument well.. I play a little guitar and some moderate drums... but I think I'll stick with my bass... otherwise she'll get jealous !!
ghehe, I remember planning a similar thing for the Tilburg (or was is Zandvoort?) fair. Me and Wolf on a trip to Andries (Minnaard).... to practice. Funny day it was. There was no
that day, it was to cold iirc. And Andries didn't have beer, that didn't help too.

Oh dear.. the memories.. the memories..
Perhaps we should think to solve my personal problem with going to fairs:
I really hate it that I hear afterwards that person X was there but I missed him because I do not know him by real name or face.
Nametags are kinda stupid. But perhaps a facebook are a 'face behind the name'- thread?
Maybe arrange a select set of songs without the lead melody, and play along with that with a guitar player and maybe a keyboard player?
That way you'll have a solid foundation of your song in terms of rhythm and chord progression (you'll only have to worry about your own timing in stead of synchronizing with 3 or 4 different people)
And you won't have to practice with other musicians you don't know or live like 100km apart from
And Huey, just look for someone you DO know, and let him/her introduce you to the rest of the guys... These fairs aren't 1000+ visitors so you could have shaken hands with everyone easily within an hour of time

True. I did but I stilled missed some people I wanted to speak....
Anyway.... Are you going to Nijmegen this year again?
Having a human drummer would really be best.
Synchronizing 'real' musicians with a synthetic beat is much, much harder, whether using click-track or not.

Dunno yet... but if my saturday isn't filled yet I'll probably go. Maybe bring a few other dinosaurs with me that missed last Nijmegen fair.
