A old project from the past years ... This is a action game.
The concept:
A man is jumping in the bridge causing falling bricks from the blocks. The bricks can hit fishes and the player earn point for each fish.

Informations!
For those curious , of course that the game use a similar concept. This concept was used on one game for Atari 2600 VCS about pigs and wolf. Also it is similar to some games with falling blocks ...
Oh, I have this Atari 2600 game, "Oink!" from Activision. It's funny!!!
Well, it could be fun I think.
Maybe you can add birds who try to drop deadly stones (or something else
) on the player.

Sounds like a pretty tiresome way of catching fish
Well, there is another game that use arpons to catch the fish ... But falling blocks looks a lot more RETRO!
Because the game engine is capable of moving blocks (lines of text or graphical characters) horizontally and vertically, I chose to use blocks falling in the fishes (vertical moviment of the blocks vs horizontal moviments of the fishes).
Since there is enough time, I can add the *BIRDS* as a special stage.

Why would birds want to drop stones or anything on the head of a lunatic who thinks he can catch fish by breaking down a bridge stone by stone? By jumping on it, for goodness' sake!
Somehow reminds me of that Near Dark game, Mururoa.
...en jij bent John en jij moet de wereld redden...
you mean this game:
Why would birds want to drop stones or anything on the head of a lunatic who thinks he can catch fish by breaking down a bridge stone by stone? By jumping on it, for goodness' sake!
I don't know, why would the "good" ones among 16 gods who think it's o.k. to fight battles between good and evil on -of all places- the Mortal World -doing so, risking the lives of all humans- decide to, when after 4000 years evil rises again and the "good" gods realize they screwed up, instead of sorting it out for themselves (which they had no problem with before), leave all the hard work and the future of all that is good and right to 8 puny mortals and a LOT of sheer luck and coincidence?
(for those of you who don't know, I'm slamming the plot of one of his favorite games. He knows I'm actually a sweet guy
)
