I have decided to part with my beloved MSX2 computer. ;(;(;(
The reason? I never use it.
It has a very common problem, frequent in all MSX2 computers I can find: the floppy drive does not work. In the case of Panasonic machines, this usually means the drive's belt is broken, but not in this case since I have fixed it with a brand new Panasonic drive belt assured to last for many years to come. The problem with this disk drive seems to be misalignment. If anybody can fix it, the drive will work great and this is an awesome computer.

This is the "Communicator" version, the most common model is the FS-A1F. The M on this model means "modem", it has a a 1200 baud modem.

It comes with all the manuals, even though I don't have the box. It is in pristine condition and costed me a damned bunch to import from Japan 9 years ago. I tried to find similar machines in my recent travel to Japan, and all had broken floppy disk drives and cost quite a fortune so I didn't get any. I never found this exact same model again either.

I am looking for U$D 270 for this machine, shipped to anywhere in USA. I hear an offer though. And if you live abroad USA, I can hear it too. Just take into account shipping.

This offer expires the 16th of February.
The picture is real, of my computer, not something I nabbed from the internet.

Uhm, I DID asked for offers. I heard none. If the price was too much, I didn't hear anything else.
The price for a Turbo R is not at all 270 dollars, at least not from my latest trip to Japan months ago. I would have gotten one if that was the price.

ale101, this book (I've nerver seen it before), if I read well, says that Music Module is worth 6€... can you find a Music Module at 6€ anywhere? Forget those pricing discussions, you can ask and make your offer, but if seller doesn't agree he's in his own right. I can't say if this computer is overpriced or not, that's relative. Sure is a lot of money for me, but that doesn't mean necessary that is overpriced. If you try to make a deal, just try it. It's all about talking. And it's clear that Akira just presented his computer and asked for an ammount for it. Nothing more than this.

Don't let you catch by the "Subastero virus". You know what I'm talking about Wink

I agree about music module, but this computer is not as expensive as you think.

I think there is a lot of distortion in pricing around here.
