LOL Smile

Manuel, Sama, pmack, robert: cut the crap and stop talking nonsense! Rob has no less then 4 really good points which are making lots of sense on planet Sunrise and that should be it. So, shut the f* up!Smile

Or just ask someone (like t00b) to actually solve the problem Smile But only if you have tried option 3 first ofcourse, because there's a patch that don't work but is worth mentioning nonetheless!!!!!

Man, I love these forums Smile

//edit; yes this is a troll. Skip if you don't have a sense of humour.

The only funny thing is you making a fool out of yourself Bart. =p
sunrise (the username) is not good at English, we can accept that. I think what he's trying to say is that Sunrise is protective of the software they own the rights of, and is frustrated to find people discussing making/releasing an unofficial patch.

@Manuel: actually I don't remember if it was t00b who fixed that bug. I'd have to do some research.
@hap: the WOOMB version was perfectly official as well. I think it's more disturbing that the game apparently was once released containing a major bug in level 43, that's all.

Yes, it would be ok for (ex)WOOMB to release a patch for the WOOMB game package (.sbn file), but I don't think that's what you+Manuel are aiming for.
(just defending Hiep here a bit, no personal interest or objection in a patch)

Nice of you to defend sunrise, but I don't believe any protection is necessary when someone offers to freely release a patch to cure a once bugged game, now is it? Smile

True that, and with that not the programmer. I wouldn't have a clue about how to make a patch out of the WOOMB version, but I'm sure someone around here does know how Tongue. Asking permission to the person who did the job will probably be the first thing to do though and - damn, my mail archive doesn't go back in time as far as I'd hoped for. That means some thorough research then, I'm afraid... Crying

@Sama, Okama. Rikuso, whatever your name is.

@Manuel: actually I don't remember if it was t00b who fixed that bug. I'd have to do some research.
t00b doesn't fix bugs. We had to fix t00b bugs in *every* Woomb translation done by you and him. The bugs are so bad, some of them don't even work on a real MSX.
This http://www.msx.org/MSX-IPS-Patch-archive-updates.newspost4375.html refers to them, but you were and are in denial and propaganda mode about it.

@hap: the WOOMB version was perfectly official as well.
Don't lie. It's actually the result of a breach of contract, making it eligible for a court injuction.

I think it's more disturbing that the game apparently was once released containing a major bug in level 43, that's all.
I think it's more disturbing that MRC/Bazix/Woomb released (some) games illegally, on an illegally acquired emulator and with bugs in them.

I don't believe any protection is necessary when someone offers to freely release a patch to cure a once bugged game, now is it?
Interesting, you yourself have tried to remove a freely released patch (Aleste 1 english) from the internet with baseless threats. Have you changed your mind on the legality of distributing patches?

I had no idea of what half of the messages here meant, so let me ask to sunrise which seems to be the owner of the software: is there a patch for the game? Or is it just impossible to run it in a Turbo-R ST?
Thanks
