DenYoNet is completely different from Obsonet. It's a completely new development.
Weeks ago I have received the DenYoNet cartridge. Today I'm trying the catridge out. I'm having some troubles with the DHCP. The hardware configuration:
- Sanyo Wavy 70FD with 512MB (MSX2+)
- Sunrise CF in slot 1
- DenYoNet in slot 2
- DenYoNet connected to a switch, the switch is connected to the router. The router is configured with DHCP on.
- On the DenYoNet cartridge the DENYOTCP.ROM is loaded.
The problems are:
1) If I type DENYOROM.COM DENYOTCP.ROM /MAC:SHOW it shows a number (58-53-4D-00-01-01) which is not corresponding with the MAC address on the back of the cartridge. Flashing the cartridge with DENYOROM.COM DENYOTCP.ROM /MAC:XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (the MAC address on the back of the cartrigde) doesn't have an effect. The numbers stays the same.
2) On my router the DenYoNet is connecting with the MAC address 00-00-00-00-00-00. If I type TCPIP.COM S all values are 0.0.0.0. I already set the automatically retrieval to ALL.
Thanks in advance for helping me out.
I guess DENYOROM.COM DENYOTCP.ROM /MAC:SHOW only shows the MAC in the ROM file and not in the catridge it self. Is there a way to show the MAC address in the cartridge on screen? The ETH.COM application doesn't work with the DENYOTCP.ROM.
I'm still stuck with connecting to the router (D-LINK DIR-655). In the router status screen I see the DenYoNet multiple times:
With the command tcpip s
Local IP address: 0.0.0.0
Subnet mask: 0.0.0.0
Default gateway address: 0.0.0.0
Primary DNS server address: 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS server address: 0.0.0.0
Thanks in advance for helping me out.
Sorry for digging out this old thread, but today was the best of all Xmas-time days: Finally I got my DenYoNet cards, too Can't wait to try them at the weekend...
