i think you'd better give some information regarding what MSX you bought.

If it's a normal TV you can connect the msx using a normal tv coax cable. If it's a monitor you might need a special cable, but in that case we need to know what msx you bought

The tapedesk is connected using standard din to jack cable... Most MSX'ers have plenty spare ones, I do for example. Maybe someone is willing to give/send u one.

Well, it's not good to assume he can connect it to the TV and get a working picture Smile You may need to use RGB or SCART on a monitor if you have a MSX your TV isn't designed for Smile (IE: PAL 50hz MSX in a country using NTSC 60hz as it's TV standard.) A Commodore 1084S monitor is good for that though, as it supports both NTSC and PAL, and 50hz/60hz. Smile

it is a Philips VG-8020. Seems to have a 9 din connector as video output, but i haven't the pinout. Also a DIN connector for tape recorder...

the VG8020 of Philips has a normal coax connection for 50hz Televisions. Can you use that? It the easiest and cheapest solution Wink
