What do i not know?
Kralizec quited?
hmm i most start reading forums,
It's a shame they quit. Let's hope they will take a nice long and deserved break, and come back with a vengeance.
Read some general trolling here.
Let's not rehash the entire discussion again, 'mkay?
Reading through the other thread (sad news, but a good read I think), I noticed how much similarities the back-and-forth had with e-mail spam:
Some crook sends out e-mail with forged 'from:' field. Naive first-time e-mail user reads spam & sends reply to 'from', which replies back 'WTF? I didn't send you that via??a advert'. Result: crook who started it isn't bothered at all, doesn't know result and/or doesn't care. But: 2 other parties wasted time & annoyed. The fix: ignore (in the case of spam: just delete, don't even read, never reply, never bother sending abuse reports or stuff like that. Just delete is the simplest, fastest & most effective way to proceed).
Let's face it: there always are idiots, and the universe is doing a good job at building better idiots every day...
My point being: if you dislike certain people (or things they do), by all means make a joke about them or discuss their actions. But for the rest: IGNORE! Don't base your decisions on the acts of idiots, don't let them determine your course through life. Yeah I know you can't always avoid them (since there are so many of them ), but for the most part you can. And once you ignore the idiots, those left are the good / helpful / funny / interesting people. Read: people much more worthy spending your precious time on.
Hi,

Similar histories pop everywhere... Brazilian community faced this kind of problem countless times, most programmers abandoned the scene.
Anyway, it is very easy to ignore those things until it happens to you.
As "hobby" as it may be, it is not the only one. If you have a hobby that brings annoyance to you... one option is "ignore". Changing the hobby is another - easier - one.
It is sad many good programmers abandoned the ship. But I am not a fan of "ignore" approach either.
Regards!

Almost ZEN!

But, you are Daniel Caetano? I still want to do a vacation in Brazil and personally kick everyone's ass who trolled your motivation away into the hospital. And muffie will help me to track them all down. He is my Brazilian Connection.
I still want to do a vacation in Brazil and personally kick everyone's ass (..)
In that order!
'cause if you kick enough people's asses hard enough, it may be wise to leave the country in a hurry - so vacation first.
O.k., first party, then kick asses and quickly leave.

There might be other things to do with all the cute brazilian asses over there ! ...
Just my opinion
