Eva files
www.adam.com ???
EVA are 3D viz files (used for TV gfx).. and are not used for MSX. So, why?
I've some trailers and music videos, but I can't put them in the net...
Do it yourself: take an Avi file and use Avi2Eva utility to convert to Eva!
If you have mpeg videos use Virtual Dub first to convert them to Avi.
with the purpose of what?
@ro: Well, to play them on MSX of course! That is, if you have a MEGASCSI or Sunrise ATA-IDE, with v9958 or v9990 (most likely, MSX2+ and up).
@enribar: take care when you're converting AVI to EVA: the resolution is often too much scaled down, so it's likely you won't see a darn thing in the output EVA...
@all: the correct cmd-line for creating EVA files is this:
AVI2EVA <filename>.AVI <filename>.EVA -HSIZE128 -VSIZE106 -FPS12 -DITHER
And if you have a film adjusted to 4:3, you should replace
-VSIZE106
with
-VSIZE96
Ro - EVA is a video file format for MSX, which allows you to play nice 12fps video files on MSX compuers. They are used for MSX and it already looks very impressive on MSX2.
m'kay. Why I never seen or heard one? oh well. learned something again, thanx.
Hey, if you'd attended the Bussum 2K3 MSX fair, I had a complete ATA-IDE + EVA setup ready

Well, most likely I won't have a booth there, but if I'd ask Grauw nicely ...
Anyway, I will take my A1ST with me, because I'm attending the Marathon, no matter what
