Well, I made a topic on Tweakers.net (a huge Dutch internet forum concerning computers). I've done this to inform more people about this interesting project. Please read it an correct any errors I might have made

I'm glad I can tell you that the legality of the MSX logo isn't determined by its form of appearance, let alone the composition of some pixels. The MSX logo that is licensed, is the logo in its most general form. That is, if it is recognizable as an MSX logo, it is subject to the policies MSX Association set out (and we represent). Even if it were a purple logo with green spots on it, it would still remain to be an officially by MSX Association owned trademark/logo 
In other words: the logo we offer on our website is not the one and only valid MSX logo, but just an image people who would like to use the MSX logo can use themselves (in the near future the MSX logo will probably be published in other (vector) formats). The logo that can be found on our site actually is nothing more or less than a 'service'. The rules apply to the very MSX logo in general.
