Bas Kornalijnslijper got me a new rubber belt which I replaced just a few hours ago and guess what?! It works like a charm again! This is gonna boost my MSX experience

In my case 6 months ago i had to replace my disk drive for a new one
after a big operation of soldering of 2 hours it worked.

You don't need modify the TurboR motherboard, you only need to make a special cable for using with the original plastic bus, with a new pc floppy disk-drive.

I also have a broken drive, that could'nt be fixed with a belt. I did'nt want to alter the machine that much, so I decided to make a drive connector converter.

I hope for your sake you've isolated & mechanically fixed that piece of circuit board - touching random points on main board (or elsewhere) with diskdrive signals is a good way to send some electronics to heaven...
