Sigs are annoying and pretty much useless. You have a profile for the necessary information.

you can always use the img tag to sig. .

all those signatures are a huge waste of server space and bandwidth also. So please no sigs.

I agree on the no-sigs, one could always add a 'Quote:' field to the user-profiles, perhaps that's a better solution ...
Indeed sigs. The wasted storage/bandwith/CPU power is not my problem, but adding sigs would definetely mess up the
postings, which are now compact & clear. Don't wanna read someones signatures 3 times on 1 page ... I prefer a 'Quote/Notes'
field in the user-profile ...

while checking my own profile I found I could disable Ebay and Goooooogle adzz.. atlast! faster downloading of MRC pages.. sight. why didn't I noticed this one option before.
