You cannot do it just by upgrading the VDP. You would need to do MUCH MORE work on it, including ROM (BIOS) changes, even so the LD games would still be all MSX1 (sprites & sound).

Indeed, rklok, did you test StarBlade with this setup? If so, I'm very intersted in all details of it, as it would be a new Palcom game. Does the cover mention Palcom or MSX in any way?

@Manuel This LD came with the set. I used it to test the LD player, I will check if it mentions MSX

The set is sold, btw
