Maybe you could have a look if there is something useable here;

Have converted all my old asm with regex'es within this script;
https://code.distributedrebirth.love/arch-msx/convasm/src/br...
This creates SDCC asm compatible output so linking with c code works.

Output is located at these repro's;

https://code.distributedrebirth.love/arch-msx/original-tara

It depends on; git,make,openmsx,msxbuild,sdcc,hex2bin
After building this results in;

dome on v9938;

wow i was not aware that there was also work done on an gfx9000 version. How far along was that version? Is it as far along as dome?

I didn't know about this, but there's even a working ZX-spectrum Dune2. Maybe this could be ported to MSX someway??
